Who are we?
Nexus ISP was founded in February 2005 and launched with the aim of providing high quality affordable internet services to the South African public. Soon after launching we became one of the cheapest internet service providers in the country. With our Web Hosting and ADSL services proving to be fast, reliable and easy to use and backed with our exceptional customer service we quickly became a trusted brand in the internet sector serving customers across South Africa.

Over the past few years South Africa's once stagnant internet industry has seen a massive change for the better. With the addition of several new international undersea transit cables arriving at our coast, the cost of supplying internet access has greatly reduced. While this has seen the price per gigabyte of ADSL data slashed throughout the industry and the introduction of truly affordable uncapped ADSL for the first time in South Africa, it soon became apparent that simply providing the 'cheapest' data in itself was not sufficient enough.
The internet has rapidly become an integral part of most businesses and common place in most households, in fact many people have become dependant on it. Thus when selecting an ISP, it is crucial that you choose a trusted company who's services are not only affordable but perhaps more importantly, fast, stable and reliable. There are so many ISPs to choose from all with many different packages and prices that it can be daunting to choose the right one. For example, our uncapped services are routed through the Internet Solutions (IS) backbone which is a tier one international network with nodes in Africa, North America, Europe and Asia. IS makes use of multiple international transit cables such as SAT-3, SEACOM, WACS and EASSY for full network redundancy, with landing stations at multiple points throughout Africa and with massive capacity. Therefore unlike many other ISPs who are constantly plagued by downtime, our customers remain connected and generally blissfully unaware of any cable outages!
